A 12-year-old boy has been arrested for allegedly throwing a rock through the windshield of Soulja Boy's tour bus.
The "Crank That (Soulja Boy)" hitmaker - real name DeAndre Ramone Way - was performing in Bloomington, Illinois on Thursday and the vehicle was attacked while parked in the town, as reported by Allhiphop.com.
According to police the unnamed boy was arrested shortly after the incident and when asked his reasons for committing the crime, he reportedly told officers because "I hate Soulja Boy."
Puffy Completes Deposition In Shooting Lawsuit
Sean 'Diddy' Combs has completed his deposition in a $130 million lawsuit filed against him in relation to a 1999 shooting outside a New York nightclub.
Music mogul Combs and former Bad Boy MC Shyne have both been named in the civil suit filed by victim Natania Reuben, who was shot in the face at the incident at Club New York.
Shyne - real name Moses Michael Leviy - is currently serving a 10-year jail term after being found guilty of assault, reckless endangerment and gun possession following the shooting.
Combs, who was with his ex-girlfriend Jennifer Lopez at the time of the incident and whose honor the rapper was supposedly defending, was acquitted of all charges in the case.
But Reuben filed a civil action against the pair seeking damages for her injuries. A judge is now required to decide whether Shyne acted alone or as part of Combs' Bad Boy collective - the record label the hip-hop giant founded in 1993 - before the case goes to trial.
If both Combs and Shyne are required to stand trial, it will be up to a jury to decide who should take responsibility for the shooting.
Shyne, who did not testify during the criminal trial, may be required to take the stand and testify about the incident. The rapper is currently incarcerated at the Clinton Correctional Facility in New York State, and could be released as early as next year.

The reporter who linked Sean 'Diddy' Combs to a gun attack on late rapper Tupac Shakur has refused to back down over the over the claims- insisting the story was factually correct.
The Los Angeles Times ran an article on Monday claiming the music mogul's former manager, Czar Entertainment CEO Jimmy 'Henchman' Rosemond was involved in a plan to ambush Shakur at a New York Recording studio in 1994.
Both Combs and Rosemond have hit back at the allegations - denying any involvement in the attack which saw Shakur shot five times, two years before he was murdered in Las Vegas. No one was ever charged in connection with the shooting, which was believed to have started a "gang war" which eventually resulted in Shakur's death.
Chuck Phillips, the journalist who wrote the story, also penned an article linking late rapper and Combs' protege Notorious B.I.G. to Shakur's death in 1996 - a claim which has also been vehemently denied by Rosemond, who said the story was full of "false information."
But Phillips is standing by his claims, insisting his research was accurate.
He says, "I try to go and find people who are directly involved or know people who are involved in the actual crime. I work the same as police do except I'm not a cop so people are not afraid to talk to me because I'm not going to arrest them.
"I deal with a lot of criminals in my work and I treat them with respect and I'm very secret about the information I gather from individuals and anybody that I work with. There are some dangerous people who I work with, but their information is safe with me."
Rosemond has since threatened legal action against the publication.

AMSTERDAM (Reuters) - A shoplifter looking to make a quick getaway from a Dutch supermarket after stealing a packet of meat left police a crucial piece of evidence -- his 12-year-old son.
In his haste the 45-year-old thief made a solo dash to his car, batting away a supermarket worker who had flung himself on the vehicles' bonnet in a bid to stop the escape.
Police in the southern Dutch town of Kerkrade said they managed to contact the thief via the boy, but he had refused to return and collect his son. The man told officers to get hold of the youngster's mother instead.
The thief later turned himself in Thursday, a police spokeswoman said.

A British woman, 57, could thank her lucky stars that a lump she thought was ovarian cancer, turned out to be her first pregnancy. She was 7-months pregnant when test revealed she was to have a girl.
Susan Tollefsen, will be one of the oldest known mothers in Britain when she has a Caesarean next week to deliver the child. Several IVF treatments failed prior to this pregnancy, which she thought she miscarried.
"I was lying on the examination table thinking, 'I'm going to die' when the sonographer turned round to me and said 'Congratulations'. My initial reaction was to think, 'What a terrible way to tell me I've got ovarian cancer."

Twas a mighty benevolent year for Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt.
Tax records show that the beauteous couple donated more than $8.5 million to various charities in 2006 via their Jolie Pitt Foundation, according to documents obtained by E! News. (View the tax return.)
Although both A-listers are used to not being able to do much without constant media scrutiny, neither appears to be the one who stops the presses when a check is written to a deserving cause. But, of course, all that paper leaves a trail, as discovered by the Huffington Post, which first reported their grand philanthropic total.
The Jolie Pitt Foundation's inaugural federal filing states that the relatively new organization doled out $8,525,930, in 2006, with Pitt accounting for $4,402,317 and Jolie chipping in the other $4,123,613.
They were able to put that amount together in part because of $2,367,935 in first-year donations. And staff expenses totaled only $27,000, a sum that would probably give most Wall Street CEOs a heart attack.
Organizations that most benefited from Jolie and Pitt's massive coffers included Doctors Without Borders and the Global AIDS Alliance, which received $1 million apiece.
Other sums included $137,935 to the Namibia Red Cross Action Program, part of their continuing commitment to give back to the African nation where daughter Shiloh was born; $100,000 to the Daniel Pearl Foundation, founded in memory of the slain Wall Street Journal reporter whose widow, Marianne, Jolie portrayed in last year's A Mighty Heart; $100,000 apiece to Global Green USA and the Epidermolysis Bulloma Medical Research Foundation (the same group Courteney Cox and David Arquette are currently rallying their friends around) ; $20,000 to a Los Angeles art park; and $5,000 each to two orphanages Jolie visited.
And here's a preview of those 2007 returns: Pitt's Make It Right Foundation, which benefits the rebuilding process in New Orleans, raised $5 million, and Not On Our Watch, the group he cofounded with George Clooney, Matt Damon, Don Cheadle and producer Jerry Weintraub, has raised more than $9.3 million since it formed in May.
As for 2008... Pitt and Jolie are expecting their second biological child (or perhaps their second and third) together. The couple, who are reportedly villa-hunting in France, are also parents to Maddox, 6; Pax, 4; Zahara, 3; and Shiloh, 22 months.
Paris Hilton promised to visit Rwanda and help children. But instead, she’s made a stop in Pretoria and posed for pictures with children. Same diff, right?
