25 Texting Terms You Need to Know
(FOR THE SOCIALLY SLOW!)

If you've ever sent a text message or instant message on your cell phone, you know how frustrating typing out long words on a tiny keyboard can be -- especially when you're in a hurry. To avoid tripping over your thumbs the next time you text, try using the rapid-fire shorthand 'language' known as texting lingo.

Texting lingo consists mainly of acronyms and phonics, which reduce the number of letters needed to write a comprehensible message. For example, the word 'you' is shortened to 'u' and "talk to you later" is simply "TTYL."

Below are 25 popular texting terms. Add some of these to your vocabulary and you'll be messaging like a teen in no time.

We've all driven our parents to ridiculous levels of stress, but Amy Winehouse has taken it one step too far.

We blame the junkie's antics for her dad's hospitalization last week!

According to the British media, Mitch Winehouse collapsed and was rushed to a hospital.

A family friend said that Mitch has done all he can to keep Crackhouse at home following her hospitalization for an emphysema-like condition and has been suffering from stress-related panic attacks.

Poor Pops! We can't even begin to imagine what hell his life must be like.

A source close to Mitch says, "He has been taking a lot on and has been dedicating himself to trying to improve Amy's health. But his own health has suffered as a result. She told him not to worry about her – but that's easier said than done."

Children can be so selfish…especially the strung out ones!

Going to Jail for DUI

Khloe Kardashian isn’t really even famous, she just the sister of Kim Kardashian who is famous for hanging around Paris Hilton. Anyway, Khole got a dui, got probation, then failed to complete her community service and alcohol education program, so now she gets 30 days in jail. Kim then blogged about it, but it doesn’t even matter what Kim says. What matters is that Khole was irresponsible enough to drive drunk, then when she got probation she was too irresponsible to complete the terms of her probation. Khloe isn’t responsible enough to ever have a driver’s license.
